Good. Writing in longhand, timing myself as I started before work that I have to do & trying to follow the advice I've read countless times about the first draft: just get it done!

Only about 15 minutes, fleshing out an idea that is really peripheral but needed changing.

An hour today, back in the summerhouse. Now the pen has been serviced I think this is the way to go for the first draft - it writes beautifully even if I can't!

Rewrote a scene I seem to have lost in jumping from my laptop to PC. It was one scene and I couldn't find it electronically or written out, and it would have needed rewriting anyway so no huge loss, but its loss was a bit of a warning! Wrote for an hour.

Decided to streamline goals, and word counts don't work for me. Want to get on with this particular project now. Have possibly lost some of it with changing between laptop and main computer but at first draft stage nothing serious.
